====== Tracker Beacons ======

Tracker beacons are used to detect when items or people go out of [[range|range]]. Tracker beacons spend most of their time connected via [[gatt|GATT]] to an app rather than [[advertising|advertising]]. A lost connection causes the app to notify the user and the device to sound. The user can also usually cause the device to sound, for example, to find lost keys.
