Tracker Beacons

Tracker beacons are used to detect when items or people go out of range. Tracker beacons spend most of their time connected via GATT to an app rather than advertising. A lost connection causes the app to notify the user and the device to sound. The user can also usually cause the device to sound, for example, to find lost keys.
